What we collect
We collect account details such as name, email address, role, and language preferences. For child profiles, a parent provides the child’s name, birth year, and learning preferences. The service stores lesson activity, progress, badges, bookings, recordings, AI practice results, and messages needed to provide the learning experience.
Microphone, photos, and notifications
Microphone access is used only when a learner chooses to record practice. Photos may be selected for lesson activities. Notification tokens are used to deliver relevant booking, lesson, or review updates. Permissions can be declined or changed in device settings.
How information is used
Information is used to authenticate accounts, deliver lessons, evaluate voluntary practice recordings, display progress, support live lessons, prevent abuse, and maintain service security. Serafim Academy does not sell personal information or use child data for targeted advertising.
Who can see it
Parents can access their own child profiles. Assigned Moallems can access the information required for lessons and reviews. Authorized administrators and reviewers have role-limited access needed to operate and safeguard the service. Service providers process data only to supply hosting, authentication, notifications, live-session, storage, and AI features.
Retention and deletion
Information is retained while an account is active and as needed for security, legal, or operational obligations. A signed-in parent can request deletion from Settings → Account & privacy → Delete account. The request removes the account, child profiles, learning records, and child recording files, except information that must be retained by law.
Children and parent control
Child profiles do not have independent email accounts. A parent creates and controls each child profile and can review its learning activity. Parents should contact support if information is inaccurate or if they need help exercising privacy rights.
